Tracy Lynn Cathcard Lang

Tracy Lynn Cathcard Lang, 69, passed away peacefully with family by her side on Wednesday, July 30, 2025, at University of Kansas Medical Center in Kansas City, Kansas.

She was born, March 24th, 1956, in Ottawa, Kansas to Orville and Lila (Minskimons) Beaty. She grew up in Ottawa and attended Ottawa Schools.

Tracy was married to Harry Cathcard, to this union two children were born, Aaron and Misty. Harry tragically passed away in 1975. Tracy was later married to Randel Horne, Sr. and of this union two children were born, Randel Jr. and Troy.

Tracey leaves behind a significant other, Gerry Major; her four children, Aaron (Tanya) Cathcard, Misty Cathcard, Randy Horne, Jr. and Troy (Lyndi) Horne, numerous grandchildren, and serval great-grandchildren. She will continue to live on in the hearts and minds of all that loved and cared for her.

Her wishes were to be cremated and family to have a celebration of life and inurnment at Highland Cemetery in Ottawa, Kansas by her loved grandson, Draven at a later date.
