Tina Marie Fleming, 70, passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 22, 2026, at her home in Lebo.

Tina was born October 4, 1955, at St. Mary’s Hospital in Emporia to Roy A. and Betty J. (Harr) Fleming. She graduated from Lebo High School in 1973.

Tina was joined in marriage twice, her first marriage was blessed with two sons, Benjamin and James. On April 15, 1981, she married Darrel Goodwin, and together they were blessed with a son, Eric and a daughter, Catherine. Tina and Darrel raised their family together for 23 years and continued to co-parent and grandparent, attending school events, holidays, and family gatherings until his passing.

She will be remembered for her radiant and friendly personality, her warm smile, and her gift for making everyone feel welcome and at ease.

She earned a degree in accounting and worked for WPS, Multivision, Walmart, and Dolly Madison. Of all the roles she held, one of her most treasured was serving as a Para at Lebo Elementary. Above all, Tina’s prized and beloved title was Nana.

Tina will be forever remembered by her four loving children, Benjamin (Gary) Piper-Thomas of Lebo, James (Alisha) Thomas of Lebo, Eric (Stephanie) Goodwin of Kokomo, Indiana and Catherine (Darrell) Graves of Halstead, Kansas. She is also survived by her brother, Gary (Lori) Fleming of Emporia; grandchildren, Jarod (Angel) Jones of Barclay, Kansas, Kort Thomas of Lebo, Rheyanna Thomas of Ottawa, Kansas, Koby Goodwin, Kurtis Goodwin and Kadynce Goodwin, all of Kokomo, Indiana, Reid Gausman of Lebo, and Rowan Graves of Halstead, Kansas; two great-grandson, Ryker and Rhett Jones of Barclay, Kansas. Tina was a beloved Aunt, Cousin and Friend!

She was preceded in death by her sister, Terry Hilton; a nephew, Nathan Fleming; her parents, Roy and Betty Fleming and husband, Darrel Goodwin.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 7:00 p.m., Friday, August 28, 2026, at Jones VanArsdale Funeral Home in Lebo. Family will be receiving friends before service from 5:00 p.m. till service time. In lieu of flowers, family request that memorial contributions be made to Prairie Paws Animal Shelter and sent in care of Jones VanArsdale Funeral Home, P.O. Box 43, Lebo, Kansas 66856.
