Teresa Ann Williams, 61, was called home, Sunday, December 31, 2017 at St. Francis Hospital in Topeka.
Teresa Ann Krueger was born December 23, 1956 in Emporia, KS, the daughter of Fred Emil and Bertha Luetta (Atchinson) Kruger. She graduated from Hartford High School in 1974.
She was joined in marriage to Steven Joseph Williams on April 20, 1985 in Emporia, KS. To this union, four children where born, Lindsay, Elizabeth, Kelcie and Fredrick.
She had been employed with State of Kansas in the Department of Children and Family Services. The last 4 years, she was the postmaster in Neosho Rapids, a childhood dream.
Teresa will be forever remember by her husband, Steve of the home; three daughters, Lindsay (Johnny) James and Elizabeth Williams, both of Neosho Rapids and Kelcie (Daniel) Mann of Emporia; a son, Fredrick “Fred” (Abby) Williams of Neosho Rapids; three sisters, Mary Gohring of Trimbell, MO, Carolyn Ludlow of Emporia and Doris Hoover of Granbury, TX; a brother, Milton Krueger of Trimbell, MO and seven grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held at 12:00 p.m., Saturday, January 6, 2017 at the Neosho Rapids Community Building in Neosho Rapids, KS. Memorial contributions may be made to Neosho Rapids Community Center or Neosho Rapids United Methodist Women and sent in care of Jones VanArsdale Funeral Home, P.O. Box 43, Lebo, KS 66856.
