Richard J. Winsky, III, passed away Friday, May 2, 2025 at his home in Americus.
Richard Jay Winsky, III was born October 16, 1950 in Newton, Kansas, the son of Richard and Delois (Warnke) Winsky, II. He graduated high school from Newton High School.
He was joined in marriage to Nancy Thompson on January 24, 1984, in Emporia. Together, they welcomed five children.
Richard was a mechanic and a truck driver.
He will be forever remembered by his wife, Nancy, of the home; three daughters, Ami Winsky Watts, Dolli Winsky, and Amanda Morris; a son, Justin Morris; a sister, Becky (Richard) Schroeder; thirteen grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a son, Kelly Morris.
Cremation has taken place. Family will have a private service at a later date.
