Lynda Lynn Rickel

Lynda L. Rickel, 84, passed away Friday, June 26, 2026, at Homestead Assisted Living of Osage City.

Lynda Lynn Trebbe was born December 20, 1941, at home in Fostoria near Burlingame, the daughter of William and Kathleen (Schafer) Trebbe. She graduated from Burlingame High School in 1959.

She was joined in marriage to Robert G. Rickel on November 13, 1960, in Burlingame. To this union three children were born, Bobby, Starla, and Gaylene. She was a loving homemaker for her family.

Lynda was preceded in death by her husband, Robert; parents; sister, Marlene Lane and brother, Gary Trebbe.

She will be forever remembered by her children, Bobby Rickel of Osage City, Starla Shields of Chanute and Gaylene Rickel of Topeka; a brother, Kenny Trebbe of Tennessee; nine grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.

Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, July 2, 2026, at VanArsdale Funeral Chapel in Osage City. Family will receive friends an hour before service. Burial will be at Burlingame Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Homestead Assisted Living of Osage City and sent in care of VanArsdale Funeral Chapel, 107 N. Sixth, Osage City, KS 66523.
