LuAnn Horton Nygard, 49, of Weddington, North Carolina, passed away on October 2, 2015 after a long illness. She was born December 15, 1965 in Emporia, the daughter of Elbert and Jean Cellar Horton. ��LuAnn earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Industrial Engineering from Kansas State University and worked as a Project Manager for United Technologies. ��She is survived by her husband John Nygard; children Luke and Caroline; sister Loree Evans and brother Roy Horton and wife Connie Horton.��
