Linda Mock passed away on Friday, July 24, 2026, in Emporia, Kansas, surrounded by her loving family.
Linda was born on March 14, 1957, in Emporia, Kansas, to Jerry and Irean (Mishler) Kelley. She grew up in Hartford, where she developed a deep love for her family and a passion for the farm life.
After graduating from high school in 1975, Linda continued her education at Flint Hills Technical College, where she was the first woman to attend, to earn her degree in Electrical Engineering.
After completing her education, Linda moved to Savannah GA, where she met the love of her life, Ron. They married and had 2 daughters. After Ron passed Linda and her daughters returned to Kansas, where she remarried and had her son. She built her home and life in the country near Hartford.
Before retiring, Linda enjoyed a successful career as a supervisor. She was known for her dedication, strength, work ethic, and the care she showed to those around her.
Linda is survived by her son, John Crawford, daughter, Sarah Mock-Hanners; sisters, Carol Kelley and Diane Kelley; and brother, Scott Kelley.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Amanda "Mandy" Mock; her husbands, Ronald Mock, and Wade Crawford; her parents, Jerry and Irean Kelley; and her brother, Marvin Kelley.
A Graveside Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday at Chicago Mound Cemetery.
