Kenneth Alan Singleton

Kenneth Alan Singleton, 60, of Olathe, Kansas passed Monday March 9, 2020 at the Olathe Hospice House. He was born November 11, 1959 in Advance, Missouri. Ken attended  Malden High School in Malden,Missouri and graduated with the Class of 1977.             Following high school Ken moved to Memphis Tennessee and became a professional wrestler for more than seven years and later worked for a property management company for four years. While in Memphis he met the love of his life, Susan Marie Gould. They were forever joined in marriage on October 30, 1986 in Memphis.  In 1988 Ken and Susan moved to Overland Park, Kansas. He took a position as groundskeeper with AMLI in Overland Park and worked his way up to Property Manager. Ken retired in 2014 after twenty six years of service. Ken was preceded in death by his loving wife Susan on November 11, 2014. He was also preceded in death by his mother, Berneita Singleton on February 25, 2004. He will live on in the hearts and memories of his daughters,  Chelsea Marie Singleton of Overland Park; Haley Annette Temple of Gardner and Brandi Lindsey of Tulsa, Oklahoma; sisters Debby Casey of Olathe, Beth Singleton of Brookfield, Missouri and Becky Singleton of Dexter, Missouri. He will also be missed by his twelve grandchildren, Landon Smith, Wyatt Smith, Aiden Temple, Ella Cordell, Avery Smith, Tyler Temple, Jace Sharp, Makenzie Sharp, Kenyana Linsey, AnTwan Lindsey, Keonte’ Wilson and Kanye Wilson; numerous extended family and dear friends. Services will be held at 4:00 P.M., Friday, March 13, 2020 at the Jones VanArsdale Funeral Home in Lebo, Kansas. He will be laid to rest next to his dear wife Susan in Lincoln Cemetery west of Lebo.  The family will receive friends Friday from 2:00 P.M. until service time at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital and sent in care of the funeral home.
