Dorothy Ruth Krueger

Dorothy R. Krueger, 77, passed away Saturday, June 15, 2024 at Newman Regional Health in Emporia.

 Dorothy Ruth Krueger was born July 23, 1946 in Emporia, the daughter of Harry P. and Blanche L. (Riggs) Krueger. She graduated from Lebo High School in 1964. She attended Clarks Business School in Topeka.

 She worked for Citizens Bank and Bank of America for over 30 years. She later worked at Spic-n-Span cleaners until her retirement.

 Dorothy was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Emporia. She was also a member of Secular Franciscan and Sweet Adelines.

 She is survived by her sister, Darlene Judd of Emporia; a brother, Dwight (Joyce) Krueger of Lebo; two nieces, Sarah and Laura Krueger.

 Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents and a nephew, Matthew S. Judd.

 Funeral rites will be held at 9:30 a.m., Friday, June 28, 2024 at Jones VanArsdale Funeral Home in Lebo. Rosary will be recited at 9:30 am and service will follow. Father Colin Haganey will be officiating. Inurnment will follow service at Waverly Cemetery.
