Danny Joe Hess, 45, of Burlington, KS, died Saturday, October 3, 2026. Danny was born on July 28, 1981, at Emporia, Kansas, to Max and Rose Hess. Danny had various jobs and was at one point an over the road truck driver. He was preceded in death by his Dad, Max Hess, of Burlington, KS. Danny is survived by his mom, Rose Hess and brother, Matthew T. Hess, both of Burlington, and son, Alexander Lee Hess, Cortez, CO, other relatives and friends. Services are pending. Cremation is planned.
