Christopher J. Rudd

Christopher J. Rudd, 25, passed away Saturday, December 3, 2022 in Cottonwood Falls, Kansas.

Christopher J. Rudd was born February 5, 1997 in Topeka, the son of Jethro Fuqua and Tricia Rudd. He graduated from Ottawa High School in 2015.

He was employed at Walmart as a Team Leader in Ottawa. He enjoyed the Kansas City Chiefs and the Kansas Jayhawks.

He is survived by his mother, Tricia (Morgan, his dad) Duncan of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; his father, Jay Fuqua of Cottonwood Falls, Kansas; two daughters, Ava and Melanie Rudd of Ottawa; a sister, Kirsten Evans of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; two brothers, Patrick Rudd of Oklahoma City and Dax Fuqua of Topeka; maternal grandmother, Pamela Rudd of Osage City; paternal grandmother, Cindy Fuqua of Cottonwood Falls, Kansas; step grandparents, Richard and Sherry Duncan of Bonner Springs, Kansas and a grandmother, Nancy Evans of Nebraska.

Christopher was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Edward Fuqua; a grandfather, David Evans and a cousin, Kiffany Mietchen.

Funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, December 10, 2022 at VanArsdale Funeral Chapel in Osage City. Family will receive friends an hour before service. Cremation to take place after service. Memorial contributions may be made to the Christopher Rudd Memorial Fund to be designated at a later date.
