Benjamin Clarence Brewer Jr., 52 of Emporia, passed away Thursday, June 11, 2026, at a hospital in Kansas City, Missouri.
“Benny “was born December 14, 1973, in Emporia, Kansas the son of Benjamin Clarence Brewer Sr. and Roxsena Merwin.
He grew up in Emporia and attended Emporia High School. Following high school, Benny began a career as a truck driver.
His handle was “Little Foot.” He predominately hauled cattle throughout his career. He did delivery for Helpings for three years and later in his career he hauled grain and refrigerated freight. His career stretched for over 30 years.
Benny was a true fan of John Wayne Movies. He also loved snow cones and going to Branson. He was always sharing odd findings and funny videos from social media with his friends and family.
Benny will live on in the hearts and many cherished memories of his family and friends. Those closest to him include his mother, Roxsena Brewer of Emporia; his significant other, Kristy Stevens of Emporia; daughters, Angela Brewer of Emporia, Harley Brewer and husband Carter of Lawrence; Shelby Brewer of Emporia and Allison Brewer of Emporia; a son, Bradley Brewer and wife Haley of Emporia and Benjamin C. Brewer III of Emporia; his step mother, Winifred Brewer of Buffalo, Missouri; a sister, Joy Stevens of Emporia; half-brothers, Jacob Brewer of Buffalo, Missouri and Andrew Brewer of Buffalo, Missouri; grandchildren, Meilania Brewer, Emylie Brewer, Arizona Brewer, Cambrie Sudja, Bryson Brewer, Maverick Brewer, Hudson Brewer, Weston Brewer; nephews, Shea Stevens and wife Alexis and Trevor Stevens; great-nieces, Makenley Stevens, Amila Stevens and Ava Stevens; great-nephews, Cypress Stevens and Enzo Stevens.
Benny was preceded in death by his father, Benjamin C. Brewer Sr. (Big Foot) and a grandson, Grayson Sudja.
A celebration of Life will be held at 1:00 P.M., Sunday, June 28, 2026, at the Jones VanArsdale Funeral Home in Lebo. Memorial contributions may be made to the Benjamin C. Brewer Jr. Memorial Fund and sent to the funeral home.
