Anothony Mark Pantona

April 1, 1958 — September 11, 2025

Anthony Mark Pantona (Tony) passed away peacefully on September 11, 2025, at age 67 in UnityPoint Health – St. Lukes, Sioux City Iowa. Our beloved Tony was a father, brother, grandfather and friend. He was born in Sioux City on April 1, 1958, to Anthony and Robbie Pantona. He was an almost lifelong resident of Sioux City, with exception to his formative years growing up in Neosho Rapids, Kansas.

Tony was an avid antique enthusiast, and loved going to garage/estate sales, as well as thrift type outlet stores. He was truly knowledgeable of antique and retro style items and enjoyed making deals buying and selling. In his earlier years, he primarily worked in car detailing and was exceptional at it. He usually had contracts with numerous different businesses throughout Sioux City. He also had a love of muscle cars and especially the Chevrolet Chevelle.

Tony was a Christian and had found his faith in Jesus. He spent many hours reading in his Bible seeking a greater understanding within his faith. In his latter days, that faith would carry him in dealing with his difficult life situations to find peace and acceptance.

Tony was also very sociable and enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He was an excellent conversationalist with a good sense of humor and spent hours immersed in conversations broaching many topics. Finally, he loved animals and always had pets that were spoiled rotten.

Tony was gifted with seven children and many grandchildren. His daughters are Gabrielle Pantona and Madi Rogers in Sioux City, Megan Borchers in Springfield, Missouri, Jamie and Erika Pantona in Mason, Ohio, and Lisa Citro in Gloucester Township, New Jersey. He leaves behind two brothers, Terry Pantona of Vancouver, Washington and Joseph Pantona of Rapid City, South Dakota. He also had paternal half siblings, Anthony, Anne Marie, and Phyllis Pantona.

Tony was preceded in death by his parents, Tony Pantona Sr. of Sioux City and Robbie Pantona of Neosho Rapids, a son, Anthony Pantona of Mason, Ohio as well as two paternal half siblings Robert Pantona and Linda (Pantona)Kaspari.
