Wilma L. Page, 90. passed away Thursday, June 8, 2017 at the Medicalodges in Columbus, Kansas. She was born June 10, 1926 in Fall City, Nebraska the daughter of William P. and Charlotte Kautzman Frederich.  Wilma called Pittsburg, Kansas home as a young girl and graduated from Pittsburg High School with the Class of 1944. She was joined in marriage to James F. Page Sr., on November 16, 1946 in Girard, Kansas. The young couple first lived near Pittsburg, moving to Great Bend, Kansas after James was discharged from the United States Army.  In 1962 they made their home in Madison, Kansas. In 1994 Wilma retired from Dolly Madison with over 20 years of service.  She had previously worked at Crawford Manufacturing in Emporia.  She will live on in the hearts of her sons, Richard Page and wife Denise of Emporia and James F. Page, Jr. of Vinita, Oklahoma; six grandchildren; one great-granddaughter and numerous extended family and dear friends. Wilma was preceded in death by her husband, James F. Page Sr. on August 21, 2002. She was also preceded in death by a  daughter-in-law, Sandy  Page; two sisters, Elizabeth Brooks and Charlotte McClintick and a brother Doyle Frederich. Private Graveside services will be held at Number 8 Cemetery  east of Madison. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice Compassus of Pittsburg, Kansas and sent in care of the VanArsdale Funeral Home in Madison.
