Twyla Lorea Damron

Twyla Lorea Damron, 61, of Virgil, passed away Monday, October 20, 2014 at Via Christi St. Francis in Wichita. She was born September 8, 1953 in Yates Center, Kansas the daughter of Bert and Doris Maley Watts. She lived in the Virgil, Hamilton and Quincy areas her entire life. Twyla earned her LPN from Flint Hills Technical College in 1994. She began working at the Medical Lodge of Eureka until 2000 when she stopped working due to health reasons. She was joined in marriage to Ronnie Melvin Damron on September 20, 1971 in Hamilton, Kansas. Twyla attended the Cowboy Church Arena of Life in Toronto. She will be forever loved by her husband, Ronnie of their home; two sons, Daniel Damron of Hamilton and Jason Damron of Virgil; three sisters, Tonya Whitaker, Troy Shaw of Eureka and Amanda Gulick of Eureka; a brother, Eugene Watts of White City; step father, David Winn of Eureka; eleven nieces and nephews; fourteen great-nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Tommy Whitaker and a great-niece, Gracie Lynn Boles
