Sarah "Sally" Leona Mcglone

Sarah (Sally) Leona McGlone, 74, of Lebo, passed away peacefully July 21, 2016 at Midland Care Hospice in Topeka.  

She was born July 31, 1943, in Wheeling, West Virginia, the daughter of Earl and Wilma Chapman.  

She married Edward Leon McGlone on June 6, 1963.  In 1987, Sally and her family moved to northeastern Kansas, where she worked at Emporia State University in the College of Business as an academic advisor until her retirement in 2009.  

She is survived by her husband Edward and two sons, Andrew Edward of Renton, WA and Matthew Steven of Austin, TX; her daughter-in-law Stacy Houlihan of Renton, WA; her granddaughters Madeline Houlihan of Lawrence, KS and Molly Houlihan of Renton, WA; and her sisters Margaret Jones of Newark, OH and Judith Doty of Mansfield, OH.

Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, July 26, 2016 at the Jones VanArsdale Funeral Home in Lebo. Family will receive friends an hour before service.
