ROBERT "CHRISTY" CHRISTIASON

LYNDON- Robert "Christy" Cameron Christiason, 74, of Lyndon, passed away November 19, 2016 at his home.

He was born on February 17, 1942 at home in Barclay, Kansas, the son of Homer and Lucille (Davis) Christiason. He graduated from Osage City High School and was a lifelong resident of Barclay and Osage City communities.

Christy married Dorothy Mae Schoepflin on April 3, 1966 in Osage City.

He worked at DeBaun International and later retired from Meier's Ready Mix.

He will be forever remembered by his wife, Dorothy of the home; a son, Bob (Jeanie) Christiason of Osage City; a daughter, Linda (Mike) Houston of Americus; a brother, Jerry (Kathy) Christiason of Osage City; three sisters, Phyllis (Tony) Doll of Topeka, Rita (Neet) Christiason of Osage City, and Janice (Jim) Masters of Council Grove, four grandchildren, Riley and Allie Houston of Americus, Tim (Yvonne) Schloetzer and Nicki (Steven) Salazar of Osage City; four great-grandchildren and many beloved nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by his parents, a twin borther Richard Christiason, a brother Mike Christiason, and a sister Marlene Shepard.

Funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm, Wednesday, November 23, 2016 at the VanArsdale Funeral Chapel in Osage City. Family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the VanArsdale Funeral Chapel in Osage City.
