Patricia Ann (Leighty) Davis, of Osage City, Kansas passed away on January 15, 2015 at the Eastridge Nursing Facility in Centralia, Kansas. Pat was one of six children of Ed and Stella (Jones) Leighty of Osage City, Kansas. She was born on March 17, 1923 in the Osage City Hospital. She was taught to play the piano by her older sister Dorothy at an early age and loved to play and continued to play up to shortly before her death. Pat attended school and at age 19 was joined in marriage to Ted Davis of rural Osage City. Thus, they began a life together that would span over 72 years. Patty moved to the farm with Ted and enjoyed a life of fun with friends, family and involvement with her church and community. Once their children were older, Pat went to work for the Con Tel Telephone Company, which was later bought by Verizon Communications and began a work career of over 20 years. Pat and Ted had two children, Rebecca Ann and John Thomas of (Ft. Lauderdale), Becky and Tom grew up on the farm and attended Osage schools. Becky and Ray Lamond were married and have two sons, Monte and Michael Lamond. After Ray's death, Becky remarried and is now married to Dan Becker of Centralia, Kansas. Pat and Ted have six great-grandchildren, Monte and his wife Katie have three children; Spencer, Brinley and Abby. Michael and his wife Rachael have three children; Madison, Hunter and Ethan.
