Linda Marie Anderson

Linda Marie Anderson, 68, passed away early Friday morning at her home in Americus, surrounded by her family. She was born February 16, 1949 in Abilene, Kansas the daughter of Melvin and Myrtle Lantz        Smith.  Linda attended grade school in Chapman and graduated from Dickinson County Community High School with the Class of 1967. Linda was joined in marriage to Larry Anderson in 1971 at Hutchinson, Kansas.  She was proud to be known as a homemaker. She had also worked at I.T.I. Marketing Online Communications and later at the Americus Library before retiring in 2004.  Linda will live on in the hearts of her husband, Larry of their home in Americus; daughters, Suzanna Brecheisen of Americus and Rebecca Espinosa of Great Bend; sons, Anthony Riffel of Manchester,  Kansas, Robert Anderson of Foley, Alabama, James Anderson of Union Mills, Indiana, Terry Anderson of Emporia, Timothy Anderson of Denver, Colorado, Jonathon Anderson of Americus and Jesse Anderson of Americus; sister, Rhonda Rucas of Streetman, Texas; brothers, William Smith of Colony and Stephen Smith of Topeka as well as twenty grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Shane Smith. 

Cremation is planned with a Celebration of her life being held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or charity of your choice. Condolences may be expressed at vanarsdalefs.com.
