Kevin Ray Hinrichs

KEVIN HINRICHS EMPORIA-- Kevin Ray Hinrichs, 36, passed away, Friday, October 17, 2014 at his home in Emporia. He was born May 23, 1978 in Emporia, the son of Michael Marvin and Louise Joyce (Viles) Hinrichs. He graduated from Emporia High School in 1996. Kevin was a member of the Emporia Express Special Olympics Group and had won many medals in various events. He loved butterflies and to watch and collect Santa Fe trains. He was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents. Kevin is survived by his mother and father, Michael and Louise Hinrichs of Emporia; a sister, Stacy Hinrichs of Junction City; a brother, Travis Hinrichs of Emporia; two nieces, Kylie and Talyn and four nephews, Trevor, Tanner, Trey, Joshua. Funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, October 22, 2014 at the Bethel Baptist Church in Emporia. Burial to follow at Memorial Lawn Cemetery. Family will receive friends a hour before service at church. Memorial contributions may be made to the Emporia Express Special Olympics Group and sent in care of Jones VanArsdale Funeral Home, P.O.
