Kathy Ann Price

Kathy A. Price, 60, passed away Monday, August 9, 2021 at Stormont Vail Regional Health in Topeka.

Kathy Ann Price was born August 5, 1961 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, the daughter of Melvin Leroy and Dolores Ann (Orgeron) Price.

She was joined in marriage to Stephen Vandruff on July 7, 2001 in Leavenworth, Kansas. They made their home on a farm southwest of Burlingame.

Kathy was a truck driver. She had a love for dogs and she rescued several dogs. She loved her family and enjoyed cooking. She was very kind and never met a stranger.

She will be forever remembered by her husband, Stephen of the home; three daughters, Stacey Williams of Burlingame, Casey Davis of Burlingame and Nora Lawrence of DeSoto, Kansas; a son, Jeremy Price of Breaux Bridge, Louisiana; three sisters, Debbie Bourgeois of Louisiana, Roxanne Munger of Osage City and Melinda Price-Bedi of Mississippi; a brother Jerry Orgeron of Louisiana; two half-brothers, Leon Lemoin and Vincent Lemoin, both of Louisana and seven grandchildren.

Kathy was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Beverly Brecheen; three brothers, Randy, Ronnie and Craig Price.

A celebration of life graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, August 17, 2021 on the family farm southeast of Burlingame. Family can pay respects on Monday, August 16, 2021 from 10 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. at VanArsdale Funeral Chapel in Osage City.
