Jesse Allen Sage

Jesse Allen Sage, 40, passed Wednesday, December 31, 2014 at his home in Williamsburg, Kansas. He was born on March 17, 1974, the son of Steven Allen and Etta Mae Woods Sage. Jesse married Laura McCullar on February 5, 1999 in Burlington, Kansas. Jesse had previously worked at Stigler Stone in Stigler, Oklahoma as well as Nelson Quarries and R&H Concrete in Topeka. He had most recently worked at Ernest Spencer Custom Coatings in Ottawa. He was a member of the Laborers Union Local 1290 in St. Mary's. Jesse will be forever loved by his father, Steve of Lebo; his two sons, Michael B. McCullar and Nathan A. Sage of Stigler, Oklahoma; a brother, Carl Sage of Kansas City, Missouri; step sister, Shelby Sage; niece Taylor Sage and close friend Dale Thornbrugh and family. He was preceded in death by his mother Etta Mae on May 14, 1994. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM, Tuesday, January 6, 2015 at the Jones VanArsdale Funeral Home in Lebo. Burial will follow services at Chicago Mound Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM, until 7:30 PM, Monday evening at the funeral home.
