James Richard Banks, Jr.

OSAGE CITY- James Richard Banks, Jr.,59, of Osage City, passed away Wednesday, September 25, 2019 at his home.

James Richard Banks, Jr. was born October 28, 1959 in Topeka, the son of James Richard and Delores Tamsy (Hinton) Banks. He graduated from Wetmore High School in 1977.

He worked many jobs to always make sure his family never went without. Some of which included farming, being a machinist, working at Iowa Beef and being a repo man.

He was a member of ABATE

James will be forever remembered by his father, James R. Banks, Sr., of Topeka; a son, Tanner Banks of Grand Island, Nebraska; a daughter, Tamsy (Rocky) Engel of Herington, KS; two sisters, Cindy Banks of Topeka and Lis (Dan) Decker of California; three grandchildren, Tucker and Reeve Banks and Oakley Engel.

He was preceded in by his mother, Delores.

A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, October 4, 2019 at VanArsdale Funeral Chapel in Osage City. Family will receive friends an hour before service.
