ILENE MUELLER

OSAGE CITY- Ilene Mueller, 78, passed away Monday, September 16, 2019 at Osage Nursing Manor in Osage City.

Ilene Kay Freeman was born November 2, 1940 in Santa Maria, California, the daughter of Milton B. “Pete” and Wilma Mae (Cokeley) Freeman. She attended Osage City High School till the 10th grade.

She was joined in marriage to Edwin C. Mueller on August 23, 1957 in Osage City. She had worked at Hallmark Cards as a napkin wrapper.

Ilene was a former Scout Commissioner for the Jayhawk Area Conference and Coast Guard Auxiliary Officer.

She will be forever remembered by her husband, Ed, of the home; two daughters, Teresa (Toby) Nell and JoAnn (Steve) Baumann, both of Osage City; a son, Ed (Mary) Mueller, Jr. of Admire; a brother, Max (Sharolet) Freeman of Osage City; eight grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren.

Funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m., Friday, September 20, 2019 at the First Presbyterian Church in Osage City. Family will receive friends an hour before service at church.
