Glenn V. Clopp

Glenn V. Clopp, 83, passed away on Wednesday, November 22, 2017 at his home in Emporia.

Glenn V. Clopp was born February 19, 1934 in Linn Creek, Missouri, the son of Earl Victor and Frances Viola (Foust) Clopp. He proudly served 20 years in the United States Air Force.

He was joined in marriage to Jessie Hammons, to this union five children were born. They later divorced. He later married Esther Lorene Clark on January 4, 1993.

Glenn was a member of Sunrise Free Will Baptist Church in Emporia.

Glenn will be forever remembered by his wife, Lorene; four daughters, Rose Marie Thompson of Bruner, Missouri, Victoria (Clark) Millett of Springfield, Missouri, Kathy Clopp of Ozark, Missouri and Connie (Lloyd) Merriman of Berryville, Arkansas; a son, David Clopp of Springfield, Missouri; three step-sons, Carl (Amy) Essary of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Gary (Katye) Essary and Marlin (Sabrina) Essary both of Portales, New Mexico; two sisters, Delphia Donnelly of Bucyrus, Kansas and Bonnie Kohler of Wichita, Kansas; eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Graveside service will be at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, November 29, 2017 at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Springfield, Missouri. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
