Darian Skye Trout

Darian Skye Trout, 29, passed away Saturday, March 2, 2024 at Lawrence Memorial Hospital.

She was born April, 10, 1994 in Ottawa, Kansas the daughter of Diane Stottlemire and Chad Trout. Darian spent her childhood in Ottawa until moving to Olathe in her early teenage years.

She attended Olathe North High School and graduated with Honors as a member of the Class of 2012. Darian attended KU for two years, where she studied Psychology/Pre-Law. She continued to live and work in Lawrence.

Darian enjoyed being outside, whether poolside or walking various trails around Lawrence and Clinton Lake. Friends and family were very dear to her heart. She brought a smile to everyone she encountered. Her cats, though, were her greatest love, Aries, Clover and Rena.

Darian will live on in the hearts and memories of her mother, Diane Stottlemire; her father, Chad Trout (Sandy); her siblings, Destiny Bishop (Jerry), Rudy Ebenstein (Jenna), Randall Crump, Zoi Trout (Noah), Sophia Trout, Landon Slaten, God-sister, Shay Wilson (Brenden), grandmother Waunita Dent, grandfather Daryl Stottlemire (Kathy), grandparents, Curt and Lisa Chaney, grandfather, Rick Trout; aunts, Jennifer Finch (Greg), Valerie Barkley (James), Kasi Carey (Cory) and Kelsey Watkins; nine nieces and nephews; many cousins and countless friends. She was preceded in death by her papa, Michael Swanson, her great- grandparents and an uncle.

A celebration of Darian’s life will be announced at a later date.
