Connie Lynn Ayala

Connie Lynn Ayala, 50, passed away last Monday evening, May 20th, 2024 at her home in Emporia.


She was born February 28, 1974 in Moundridge, Kansas the daughter of Warren Dean and Sharon Lee Roth Stucky. Connie attended Hutchinson High School and graduated with the Class of 1993.


Connie was joined in marriage to Margarito Ayala on January 25, 1995 in Emporia, Kansas. Margarito and Connie made their home in Lebo in 1995 and began a family.


Connie worked as a waitress before pursuing her dream of becoming a LPN. She attended training at Flint Hills Technical College and earned her LPN Degree.. Not long after receiving her LPN, Connie was diagnosed with a lung disease that greatly dismissed her ability to work in the nursing field. She would be later diagnosed with pancreatic cancer .


Connie touched many hearts and lives and was a mom to many. Her family describes her as a loving wife, mother and daughter that truly loved family events of any type. She had a fondness for flee markets and was always up for a fishing outing with family.


In 2015 Connie and Margarito moved to Emporia to be nearer the medical care that Connie needed.


Connie will live on in the hearts and countless memories of her devoted husband, Margarito of their home in Emporia; a daughter, Tatiana Eileen Willems and her husband, Joshua of Emporia. sons, Antonio Roberto Ayala and his wife, Elizabeth of Madison, Kansas , Daniel Warren Ayala of Downs, Kansas and Christian Lee Ayala of Emporia; her grandchildren, Paisyn, Ensley, Jaxxyn, Hayden, Carson and Leo; her mother, Sharon Lee Regier of Cottonwood Falls, Kansas; numerous extended family and a community of friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Warren Dean Stucky and her grandparents.



Connie’s wish was to be cremated and to have a celebration of her life at the convenience of her family.
