Claudia Ruth Jeanneret

Claudia Ruth (Schlotterbeck) Jeanneret, 73, passed away in Eureka, KS on October 28, 2021. Claudia was born on July 7, 1948 in Gridley, KS to Charles and Alma Lee (Watts) Schlotterbeck. She spent her childhood in Greenwood County, graduating from Hamilton High School in 1966. After school, Claudia was united in marriage to Ray Ulysses Jeanneret on October 14, 1967. Together they celebrated 48 years of marriage before Ray’s passing in 2016.
Claudia received her associates degree and worked as a registered nurse. Her main place of practice was Wesley Medical Center in Wichita, KS from which she retired in 2011 after over 15 years. She regularly played pitch games with friends and participated in bowling leagues. She loved spending time with family, especially her grandkids, and became especially fond of her daughter-in-law’s chicken, whom she regularly fed apples.
Preceding Claudia in death is her husband, Ray Jeanneret; both parents, and one brother, Ivan Joe Schlotterbeck.
Claudia’s memory will forever live on in the hearts of her children, Patrick Jeanneret (Teresa) of Eureka, KS and Lanita Keith of Wichita, KS; 11 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Everett Schlotterbeck of Buffalo, KS and Andy Schlotterbeck of Virgil, KS; and two sisters, Rodena Holland of Andover, KS and Gayla Cox of Sedan, KS.
