Alex Floyd Prior

Alex Floyd Prior, 18, passed away March 14, 2021.
He was born October 19, 2002 in Lawrence, Kansas the son of William Prior and Tessa Thomas.       
          Alex had attended Circle High School in Towanda where he had participated in Forensics, Theater and Choir. He also ran on the Cross Country Team.  He expressed interest in History and teaching.  
          Alex was an avid reader and would often spend his free time listening to music and singing.
          Alex had previously worked at Braum’s  in El Dorado for six months.
 
          He will live on in the hearts and memories of his parents, Tessa and Mike Smithwick of El Dorado; sisters, Adrianna Torres and Elisabeth Smithwick; brothers, Michael Smithwick and James Smithwick; maternal grandmother, Karrie Henderson; maternal great-grandpa, George Henderson; paternal grandpa John Smithwick and paternal great-grandma, Geneva Smithwick; numerous extended family and many friends.
         
          Friends and family will gather to celebrate Alex’s life at 11:00 A.M., Sunday, March 28, 2021 at the Prospect Baptist Church in El Dorado. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alex Prior Memorial Fund and sent in care of the Jones VanArsdale Funeral Home at P.O. Box #43, Lebo, Kansas 66856.
